The marriage between Cuban and jazz music is one of the most fascinating stories in our history. It brought together four major cultures from across the globe to coalesce into a music that feels so natural, so human, it gives the impression that it was a genre always destined to be ignited into existence.

The music on this album was recorded live at SPACE in Evanston, Illinois, with some of my best friends. There may be mistakes found here and there but what’s been captured is my favorite kind of energy – thrilling, palpable, and sincere.
